At Lucid Med, we are committed to delivering high-quality medical presentations that meet your expectations. We understand that investing in a professional service requires confidence, and we want you to feel secure in your purchase.
This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available for our services and products.
1. Custom Presentation Services
1.1 Our Commitment
We stand behind the quality of our work. Every custom presentation includes revision rounds (as specified in your service package) to ensure your satisfaction. We will work with you through the revision process to address your concerns and deliver a presentation that meets your needs.
1.2 Full Refund (100%)
You are eligible for a full refund in the following circumstances:
a) We fail to deliver by the agreed deadline
- If we miss the delivery deadline specified in your order confirmation by more than 24 hours, and the delay is not caused by your failure to provide required materials or respond to clarification requests, you may request a full refund.
- This does not apply if we have notified you of a delay in advance and you have agreed to the revised timeline.
b) We are unable to complete the project
- In rare cases where we determine we cannot fulfill your order (due to technical issues, capacity constraints, or other reasons on our end), we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.
c) Duplicate payment
- If you are charged more than once for the same order due to a payment processing error, we will refund the duplicate charge immediately.
d) Order cancellation before work begins
- If you cancel your order before we have begun work (typically within 2 hours of payment), you may receive a full refund.
1.3 Partial Refund (50%)
You may be eligible for a 50% refund in the following circumstances:
a) Dissatisfaction after revisions
- If you are not satisfied with the delivered presentation after exhausting all included revision rounds, and we are unable to resolve your concerns through additional revisions, you may request a partial refund.
- We may ask you to provide specific feedback on what aspects of the work do not meet your expectations.
b) Significant scope miscommunication
- If there was a genuine miscommunication about the scope of work (shared responsibility between both parties), and the delivered presentation is substantially different from what was expected, a partial refund may be considered.
c) Order cancellation after work has begun
- If you cancel your order after we have begun work but before delivery, a 50% refund may be issued to account for the work already completed.
1.4 No Refund
Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:
a) Subjective dissatisfaction with design style
- Differences in aesthetic preference (such as color choices, font preferences, or layout style) are not grounds for a refund, provided the delivered work is professionally designed and meets the specifications in your order.
b) Change of mind after delivery
- If you have received the completed presentation and it meets the agreed-upon specifications, a refund is not available simply because you no longer need the presentation or have changed your mind.
c) Failure to request revisions
- If the delivered presentation could have been improved through the revision process but you did not submit any revision requests within the 7-day revision window, a refund is not available.
d) Issues caused by client-provided content
- If the presentation contains errors that originated from content you provided (inaccurate data, incorrect information, wrong research paper), a refund is not available. We will correct such errors through the revision process.
e) Third-party issues
- Issues caused by your software, hardware, or institution's systems (such as formatting differences when opening the file on a different computer) are not grounds for a refund. We will provide technical assistance to resolve compatibility issues.
f) Violation of Terms of Service
- If your order is terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service (such as including PHI in uploaded materials or abusive behavior), no refund will be issued for work already completed.
2. Template Products
2.1 Digital Products — No Refund
Due to the nature of digital products, all template sales are final and non-refundable once the download link has been accessed or the file has been downloaded.
Before purchasing a template, we encourage you to:
- Review the preview images and description carefully
- Check compatibility requirements (PowerPoint version, Google Slides)
- Download the free template first to assess our design quality and style
2.2 Exceptions
A refund for template purchases may be issued in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Duplicate purchase: If you accidentally purchase the same template twice.
- Technical defect: If the template file is corrupted and we are unable to provide a working replacement.
- Significantly misleading description: If the template is substantially different from what was described and shown in preview images.
3. Bundles
3.1 Bundle Refund Policy
Refund requests for bundles follow the template refund policy above. If a refund is granted for a bundle:
- The refund amount will be based on the bundle price paid, not the individual retail prices of the templates.
- Partial bundle refunds (refunding individual templates within a bundle) are not available.
4. How to Request a Refund
4.1 Process

- Your full name
- Order ID or transaction reference
- Date of purchase
- Reason for refund request
- Specific details about what did not meet your expectations (for custom presentations)
4.2 Review Process
- We will acknowledge your refund request within 24 hours.
- We will review your request and may ask for additional information or clarification.
- A decision will be communicated to you within 5 business days of receiving your request.
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 7-10 business days using the original payment method.
4.3 Refund Method
- Refunds are processed through the same payment method used for the original purchase.
- Processing times depend on your payment provider and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
- Currency conversion rates at the time of refund may differ from the original purchase rate. We are not responsible for any differences in conversion rates.
5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
5.1 Contact Us First
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving issues quickly and fairly.
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us:
- Delays the resolution process
- May result in additional fees
- May affect your ability to use our services in the future

6. Satisfaction Guarantee
While we do not offer an unconditional money-back guarantee, we are committed to your satisfaction. Our promise:
- We will revise your presentation until it meets your expectations (within the scope of your package).
- We will communicate clearly about what is and isn't possible within your order.
- We will treat every concern seriously and work toward a resolution.
- We will issue a refund when it is warranted per the terms described above.
Our goal is not just to avoid refunds — it is to deliver work that you are genuinely proud to present.
7. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our Website. The refund terms applicable to your order are those in effect at the time of your purchase.
